Upper Secondary Chemistry
Overview
Upper Secondary Chemistry dives much deeper into the various fields of Chemistry, which might be a big jump from what was taught in the lower secondary syllabus. Chemistry can be a challenging subject, which taps on the knowledge learnt from subjects such as Mathematics and even Physics. However, once students are able to understand the concepts and see links between topics, they will be able to remember and appreciate the content taught better.

She scored consistent ‘A’s for all her H2 Chemistry examinations and for the GCE A-Levels, even attaining a ‘Distinction’ for H3 Chemistry. Having developed a strong passion for the subject, she is currently pursuing Chemistry at NTU as a CN Yang Scholar (with scholarship). With the wealth of experience and knowledge Gerdine possesses, she will definitely be able to help to answer your queries and show you the most effective pathways to understand concepts and links.
Qin Heng
Qin Heng is a devoted tutor who spent hours researching on the most effective way to study Chemistry. Having undergone the rigorous O Level examinations herself, Qin Heng understands best what is required of students undertaking O Level Chemistry, as well as the most optimal way to prepare for examinations. This experience enables Qin Heng to offer deep insights on how to make synoptic links between topics. During her lessons, you can expect a strong focus on key skills needed to conquer examinations.
