Secondary Mathematics
Overview
Secondary Math is a significant step up from Primary Math, delving deeper into the world of Mathematics and offering more knowledge of various formulas and their applications. As such, students may struggle to grasp concepts, as skills such as strong number sense, meticulousness, and consistent effort are required. In Upper Secondary, while the content is split into A and E Math, the requirements to excel in these subjects remain high.

During lessons, we summarise each topic into bite-sized, digestible content so students spend less time in doubt and more time solving problems with confidence and flair. Detailed, codified answering methods are provided, allowing students to ace common question types. Arthur is a passionate tutor who deeply enjoys exploring the world of wonders in Math. In Secondary School, Arthur struggled with Mathematics, consistently scoring less than ideal marks. However, after following a particular studying framework, he managed score consistent ‘A’s throughout JC H2 Mathematics examinations and for the GCE A-Levels. Today, Arthur teaches his method to his students in a streamlined and guided manner, allowing past students under him to improve tremendously, and quickly. His attention to detail means that no mistake will be left uncorrected. Arthur also believes in the concept of a flipped classroom, always asking questions to make sure you understand the concept well.
Qin Heng
Qin Heng is a friendly and patient tutor that hopes to teach mathematical concepts in a fun and digestible manner. Having overcome her own struggles with this subject, she is able to share tips to improve problem-solving and applications skills through consistent and targeted practices. With previous experience as a part-time tutor, she hopes to build her student’s confidence along the way. Qin Heng is also the most in tune with the O Level syllabus, being able to show students the most effective studying methods so that they are prepared for their examinations.
Ashley
Ashley is a passionate tutor who deeply enjoys real life applications of Mathematics. Having scored consistent 'A's throughout her JC H2 Mathematics exams and for the GCE A Levels, she hopes to impart her knowledge of the tips and tricks when solving qestions while ensuring her students have a deep understanding behind each concept.
Chloe
Chloe is an approachable and patient tutor that analytically breaks down big concepts into simple and relatable topics. Having devised her own studying method for this subject, she now aims to share with students the most straightforward problem solving tips. Most students under her have benefitted from her meticulous guidance, managing to pull their grades up significantly.
